When the protagonist from Kafka's The Trial transforms into the character from Dostoevsky's Notes from Underground.
This short film is crafted with a clear vision and tight execution, showcasing a compelling narrative that is both concise and impactful. The black-and-white color grading gives the film a timeless feel, really deepening its emotional impact and highlighting the intense feelings of the character. During the trial scenes, the spotlight cinematography pulls right into the protagonist’s struggle, making the isolation and tension feel almost tangible. The absurd trial scenes were amazing.
Psychiatry, Isolation, Addiction, Suicidal urge, Legal system, a bit Radicalism & Pretentious social outlet lanti chala topics ni it touched carefully.

I'm the writer-director-actor of this film and I'm going to roast it left, right, top, bottom, front and back now.
The director of this film didn't have a target audience in mind. He is clueless to whom he is catering to. In some instances he understates things, use static shots, still shots and these parts are impactful. But the other instances, he over-explains things. For example, there's a scene where character speaks to the voices in his head. Director chose to shift camera from the main character to an empty space to make it obvious that there's no one and he's speaking to himself. Is this director so dumb that he thinks audiences can't understand that without shifting camera that side to… -

Generally, I don't like directors/writers reviewing their own films or dissecting them completely within days of their release, but I have always felt it's a good practice to be followed for short films made by newcomers. A couple of weeks ago, I watched the short film Naruley Narakam / Hell is People made by Shinjitsu7 (one of the good friends I got through my filmstagram account), and it felt good to see him writing or rather roasting about the technical shortcomings of his short here because more often than not, the only kind of reception I see for short films in comments are of encouraging or bhajanlol ones, and that's not bad per se because they may be friends to…

saw pardhu’s review and watched the short.
as a student who made two shortfilms, sollu dhobbadam kakapoina, entho kontha i know about budget issues and problems involved in writing.
max runtime monologue/voice over unapudu, you could have made the voice acting a lil more expressive. katradhu tamizh vibes ochay akkadakada. idk how many felt that.
kinda liked this.
keep writing man !!! -
